  EFFICACY IN WORK AND MINISTRY DEPENDS ON FAITH IN GOD’S WISDOM AND POWER
  
  How often do we pray before the Lord, asking for His help in our ministry, or before we begin work? Isn’t it true that we tend to rely on our own ingenuity, as if the success of a project is solely dependent on us? The first reading reminds us of the need to rely on the wisdom of God rather than on our human wisdom. More than that, we are called to establish a relationship with Him through prayer. It is this conscious relationship with God that we will find the power to minister effectively.
